Yaya Toure was a formidable midfielder who played for Manchester City for eight seasons. During his time at the club, he helped them win three Premier League titles, two League Cups, and an FA Cup. Toure was also named the African Footballer of the Year four times.
Rio Ferdinand was another Manchester United stalwart who made over 450 appearances for the club. He won six Premier League titles, two League Cups, and a Champions League title during his time at the club. Ferdinand was also a key player for the England national team, making 81 appearances and scoring three goals.
Petr Cech is one of the greatest goalkeepers to have played in the Premier League. He spent the majority of his career at Chelsea, making over 300 appearances for the club and winning four Premier League titles, four FA Cups, and a Champions League title. Cech also holds the record for the most clean sheets in Premier League history.
The other players shortlisted for the Hall of Fame include Dennis Bergkamp, Eric Cantona, Roy Keane, Frank Lampard, Matt Le Tissier, Michael Owen, Alan Shearer, John Terry, and Patrick Vieira. These players were chosen for their exceptional talent, achievements, and impact on the league. The public vote will determine which two players will be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
